Welcome to Blue Ridge Horse Adventures
Experience horses your way. Each 2 hour private session starts with the basics and advances according to your interest and skill level all while enjoying our amazing views.
Available for young children, non-riders, beginner riders, advanced riders, family vacation, individual adventure, or even a date. Come see us!

*Fully enclosed shoes are required for everyone. Helmets and all other equipment is provided.
We are an equine program open to the public by appointment. Whatever your level of horse enthusiasm, we aim to provide the opportunity to experience horses and nature in a beautiful setting on 300 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. We are a bit of nostalgic countryside where memories are made.
We emphasize the relationship with horses regardless of a person's ability. Activities from the ground are equally important, and there is much to learn and experience. Every person and every horse is unique.
Providing private group experiences for your family or small group, riding is not required, however a Western horseback riding lesson is included for riders up to 180 pounds. Whether you ride or not, you will gain knowledge and confidence here that can be applied wherever you interact with horses in the future.
An experience can include a variety of activities led by a knowledgeable instructor. This range of activities will be customized for the level of interest and prior experience by each member of your group and has an emphasis on safety. It is like a private horse clinic just for your group with our horses.
It can include:
A horseback riding lesson for anyone under 180lbs,
Meeting and petting a variety of horse breeds and personalities,
Participation in a horse communication lesson,
Hands-on horse care,
Experiencing their beauty as they graze nearby while you enjoy a picnic,
Or getting some much needed R&R under the shade of an oak tree while watching the kids enjoy an age appropriate riding lesson or pony ride.
Whatever level of interaction you go for, we strive to make sure you enjoy your visit.
The facility includes an outdoor arena with beautiful mountain views, picnic areas with fire pits, woodland trails, creeks, and a fishing pond.

During spring and fall we offer weekly beginner riding lessons for children and small adults only as our riding horses are on the smaller size (14-15 hands high) and by appointment.
